Self taught artist Leigh Walker relocated from the Catskill
Mountain region of Ulster County in New York, in the fall of 2005. She currently resides in
Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Leigh resumed her artistic endeavors in 2003 after not painting
or sculpting for thirty years, due to a personal crisis.
The artist has exhibited her art work in both New York and Florida. They include the Art Under Construction Gallery in New York City; Northern Westchester Center For the Arts in Mount Kisco, New York; Art Upstairs Gallery in Pheonicia, New York, and both the Kleinart Gallery and The Woodstock Guild in Woodstock, New York.. In the past two years, since moving to Florida, Leigh has exhibited at Art Serve Gallery and Broward Community College, both in Ft. Lauderdale, as well as at The Broward Art Guild in Wilton Manors and Gallery of the Unknown Artist in Hollywood, Florida. As of 2006, Leigh has been a member of the Tarpon River Art Center, located in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Each original painting is limited to a production of 50 signed and numbered Giclee' prints.
