| In past opinions, I have written that my belief is that black and white photography is,
or can be, more interesting than color photography. I first publicly made that statement in my role as a security expert testifying at
a trial in which I showed a shorrt black and white video presentation I made as part of my
testimony on behalf of the plaintiff in a civil action. When asked by the defense attorney
how come I didn't make a color video - the incident occurred at night - I stated that
black and white was mote truthful, a statement which was not rebutted. The other day I was reading the current issue of Art Business News in which a feature on forecasting 2007 was included. In one section of the article, several panelists were asked whether or not "we would see an increae or decrease in the sale of fine-art photography". The consensus of opinion appears to be that black and white photography will either stay as it is or will become more in demand. Read More |
